A new term has begun and I have been trying to prioritise my kids more. One of the things that I have tried to do is work less. Or rather restrict my working hours to the times that my kids are in school or asleep. It hasn't been easy but I am enjoying my kids more.
This week, I also started following a meal plan that I planned last week. I have tried meal planning in the past but it never worked out. Recently, I have decided that it would be the best way to cook more and be more efficient. So I tried it again.
It has worked great. I cooked more times this week than before. In fact, I even managed to try my hand at making the meals look more presentable.
I'm enjoying this responsibility of feeding my family well and they love it too.
