Today is Singapore's 47th Birthday and I was feeling a little nostalgic last night.
I was also in the mood to make something.
I had come across this print a little while back on facebook and it was created for
iremembersg. It highlights the locations of Singapore's old playgrounds. I recall lots of happy memories made playing at the playgrounds and thought this would be such a nice print to use to make a keepsake.
I ended up making a couple of rings, charms and a pair of dragon stud earrings (seen in the first picture). I really liked the dragon design because I remember playing at that particular one.
Memories are special and connect us with the people around us. You might enjoy

Tips for printing:
- I found the print here.
- I saved the print and printed 4 copies on an A4 page which resized the circles to approx 12mm which was perfect for the stud earrings and the rings.
- I printed out 2 copies on an A4 page and used that to make the 16mm charms.
