It's the weekend and I thought you might like to hear about a fun place that we visited last week.
My sister first told me about this ice cream cafe that makes fresh ice cream on the spot.
They use nitrogen, she said. Hmmm, sounds fancy I thought.
But she was keen to head back for a second cup and since she loved it enough to visit it again, I decided to bring the kids with me.
We tried a few flavours between us. Christmas Horlicks which had oreos and honeycomb in it. That was really good.
I had the salted caramel which had a really lovely smooth texture and was sweet too.
The boys had a peanut butter version with marshmallows and crumbed oreos thrown in. They loved it and finished it very quickly.
In all, I really enjoyed the extra smooth texture and it was definitely lots of fun watching them make fresh ice cream on the spot. We would definitely go back again.
