Father's Day is in about two weeks time and I have been playing around with different craft ideas that would be fun to make for all those special dads out there.
Here's a simple idea that takes just 5 minutes to make : A Father's Day Tie Origami Card
Perfect for a slow friday afternoon in the office perhaps. Or a weekend craft.
I found these retro prints and copied and pasted it into an A4 sheet so I could craft with it. You can download the printable here.
Then just follow the instructions below. Steps 1-6 are quite easy. I took a little while to figure out Step 7 but it isn't that hard.
And there you have it... a Father's Day Tie Origami Card.
I thought it would be a nice gesture particularly for father's who grew up in the 60s (which by the way is the theme of the Singapore Blog Awards this year but more on that next week).
Take time this Father's Day to tell your dad that you appreciate him. Maybe share a memory that meant a lot to you or perhaps a piece of advice that he gave you that now makes sense. Hehe. Whatever you do, don't forget to tell him that you love him.
Okay, it's been a busy week and I'm signing out for the weekend but will be back next week with more inspiration from the 60s.
Have a wonderful weekend!
