Photography has been on my mind these days and so this month, I have decided to shine the spotlight on creativity in photos.
Some through the use of props and some through the use of photoshop.
But it seemed only right to begin with Dewitt Jones.
As one of America's top professional photographers, Dewitt Jones is well known for his spectacular shots while working with National Geographic. He has travelled the globe and captured numerous shots of the world in ways that were never seen before.
Fortunately for us, he chose to share his secret on how he did it. So he now teaches creativity and vision using examples from photography. I really love listening to his videos and feel so inspired by them.
If you are tired of the mundane and in need of some inspiration, here is a short (6 min) video by Dewitt Jones about what he would do to capture a photograph with an Extraordinary Vision.
Here are the 4 steps:
1. Focus the vision
2. Train your technique
3. Place yourself in the place of most potential
4. Truly be open to the possibilities
Do watch it when you get a moment. I hope he inspires you too.
